I am the Beginning and the End
Revelation 22: 6-21
And he said to me: These words are faithful and true; and God, the Lord over the spirits of the holy prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants things which must shortly come to pass.
Behold, I come quickly; blessed is who keeps the words of this prophecy of this book.
Here speaks who testifies all these things: Truly, I come quickly!
Amen. Yes come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you all. Amen.
And I, John, am the one, which heard and saw all this, and when I had heard and seen, I fell down, to worship before the feet of the angel, which showed me these things. And he says to me: Do it not; for I am your fellow servant and brother of you, and of the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book. Worship God!
I testify to every one, who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Tree of life in the holy city, which are described in this book.
And he said to me: Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near! He that is unjust, let him continue with his crimes, and he which is filthy let him make himself even more filthy. And the righteous one, let him exercise being righteous even more, and he that is holy, let him make himself even more holy. Behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me, to give every one according as their work shall be.
And the Spirit and the Bride said: Come! And let those who hear it, say: Come! And who is thirsty, come. And whosoever wants, let them take the water of life freely.
I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are they, which wash their garments, that they may have right to the Tree of life, and that they may enter in through the gates to the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whores, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves lies and does lie. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things for the communities. I am the root and the offspring of David, the shining morning star.
