The great city was divided in three parts;

And there were lightning, voices, thunderclap, and an earthquake followed with such violence as happend never since men were on the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so heavy.
And every island fled away, and the mountains were no longer found and there fell upon men great hail stones, every stone about the weight of a talent; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the plague was overwhelmingly great.
