The fight of Michael with the dragon and
of the fallen dragon with the woman
Revelation 12: 7 – 17
And there was a fight in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought and he did not prevail. Neither was there place any more for them in heaven.
And the dragon was infuriated at the woman, and went to fight against the remnant of her children which honour the divine goals of the world, and keep the testimony of Jesus.
And the great dragon, that old serpent, called Lucifer and Satanas, which deceives the whole worldsphere, was cast out onto the earth , and his angels were cast out with him.
And the earth helped the woman , and the earth opened her mouth, and sallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
And I heard a loud singing in heaven: Now is the victory and the strength and the dominion to our God, and the power to the Messiah; he who is thrown down was the accuser of our brothers, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in heaven!
And the serpent, being revengeful, cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Woe, however, to the earth and the sea! For the devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.
And to the woman were given the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly to the desert, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, far away from the face of the serpent.
And when the dragon saw, that he was cast on the earth, he persecuted the woman, which brought forth the man child.
