The beast from the abyss kills the two witnesses of God

Revelation 11: 1 – 14

And there was given me a reed, like a rod; and the voice said: Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court, which is outside the temple, leave that out, and measure it not, for it is given to the heathen, and the holy city they shall tread under foot, forty and two months.

And the same hour, there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city collapsed, and in the earthquake were annihilated seven thousand names of men. And the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The woe, the second is past; behold, the third woe comes quickly.

And I will mandate my two witnesses, that they prophesy thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candle sticks standing before the Lord of the Earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and will devour their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, he must in the same way be killed.

And after those three days and an half: Spirit of life from God streamed into them, and put them on their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw it. And I heard a great voice from heaven saying to them: Come up! And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies had to watch it.

These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

And men from all people, and tribes, and languages, and nations, see their dead bodies three days and an half, and do not permit their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry, and send gifts one to another; because these two prohets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the abyss, shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
