The multitude in white robes for the throne
Revelation 7: 9-17
After this I saw, behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and languages, stood before the throne , and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palm-branches in their hands. And they cried with a loud voice: Salvation comes from our God, sitting on the throne, and from the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and the elders and the four animal-like beings; and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God and said: Amen. The power of blessing, the light of the sprit, the wisdom, the thanksgiving, the worthiness of the soul, the world power, and the strength of the I, they belong to our God for aeons to aeons. Amen.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore, neither shall sun-glare affect them nor any hot wind: For the Lamb that stands for the midst of the throne, shall feed them and shall lead them to the fountains of water of life. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
And one of the elders rose and said to me: What are these, which are arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from? And I said to him: My lord, you know it. And he said to me: These are they which came out of a great tribulation; and they have washed their robes , and made them white by the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple. And he that sits on the throne shall reside above them and watch over them.
