Openbaring 1: 4-8
John, to the seven communities in Asia, grace and peace to you from ‘which is, and which was, and which is to come’; and from the seven spirits which are before his throne, and from Jesus, the Messiah.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Oh, faithful witness, the first begotten of the death, the ruler of the kings of the earth;
See, he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him, also they which pierced him; and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him, yes Amen.
To him, that unselfishly loves us, and has washed us from our sins with his blood and has made us to a kingdom, to priests of his God and Father, him the glory and the power from aeons to aeons. Amen.
